Meet Jason Knight
Rhode Island Lawyer With 17 Years of Experience
Jason Knight is licensed to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts and admitted to practice in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Federal District Court. He is a former Rhode Island state prosecutor with years of experience litigating criminal cases. He now uses his valuable experience and insight to provide our clients with zealous, persistent, and effective legal representation.
Military Background
Before becoming a lawyer, Jason was an enlisted nuclear propulsion technician in the United States Navy. After the Navy, Jason earned his undergraduate degree from Emerson College in Boston and worked for years as a theatrical production manager in the city's performing arts community.

Legal Career
Jason earned his law degree from Suffolk Law School in Boston, MA in 2005. Between 2006 and 2010, Jason served as a Special Assistant Attorney General with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General. During that time, Jason prosecuted hundreds of cases involving a wide variety of charges, including DUI and breathalyzer refusals, domestic violence, narcotics possession and trafficking, weapons charges, sexual assaults, child molestations, and homicide. In 2010, Jason began his private practice and founded The Law Office of Jason Knight.
Jason is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association. He is a contributing author of "A Practical Guide to DUI in Rhode Island" published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. Jason also lectures other lawyers on criminal law matters, law and technology issues, and is a regular guest speaker at the Roger Williams Law School criminal defense clinic. He is also a member of the 2010 class of Leadership Rhode Island. Jason is also a member of the House Committee on the Judiciary in the RI House of Representatives.
